The range of Bona moisture barriers and adhesives has been expanded.  Bona has options to suit every project with 3 types of moisture barrier and 2 adhesives now available; just select which products and application methods best suit the job.

Good flooring professionals know that the choice of adhesive system is critical for a floor that will last. Bona Silane adhesives are easy to use and reliable, ensuring excellent adhesion to the substrate and prevent moisture transfer. Bona have been working with timber floor adhesive systems for over 45 years and are a major worldwide supplier of reactive silane adhesives. These adhesives contain no solvent or water and react with moisture taken from the air, the timber or the substrate to cure. Unlike solvent based polyurethane adhesives they contain no isocyanate compounds. Over 30 million m² of flooring has been laid using the Bona Silane adhesive system.

The updated range of Bona adhesives now includes 3 moisture barriers and 2 adhesives. For some floors rather than applying a separate moisture barrier, simply use a thicker layer of Bona R848T or R850T adhesive as a combined all-in-one moisture barrier / adhesive system in a single application using the Bona Trowel Plus system the time savings of not having to apply separate layers and wait for products to dry can be an economical and practical solution.
