Maintenance Guide Commercial

Proper maintenance is often the most overlooked aspect of a commercial timber flooring project.

Preventative maintenance should include the installation of adequate mats at all entrances and felt protectors on furniture legs to prevent scratching. After this on-going maintenance including proper cleaning methods and the use of protective products like Bona Freshen Up will keep the floor looking good. The floor should be regularly inspected for signs of wear and re-coated before wear-through of the finish occurs. A correctly maintained timber floor should almost never need to be sanded back to bare timber again.

Additional advice and information can be found below in the Bona commercial maintenance guide. The guide gives an outline of the required maintenance procedures to assist in the preparation of a suitable maintenance programme. Additional advice should be sought from maintenance contracting companies with regard to the frequency of the cleaning operations.
